Hotpoint tumble dryer condenser 8kg

Hi there my condenser dryer will not switch on. I have cleaned everything. The central dial lights up on programne, amber light appears on on / off switch but dryer will not start. Is about 3/4 years old. Worked perfectly well until now! Any help please

Sorry its a green light not amber just flashes!

Not sure of model number is just says hotloint and 8kg!
Its decided to work again .... l think its probably the door switch but just waiting till it goes again
