Hotpoint Ultima Condenser Dryer

can anybody help ive got a hotpoint condenser dryer but the drum is not turning everything else seems to be working fine it heats up goes through the programme cycle, dials are all turning and machine switches off when finished, but drum does not turn.

can anyone help

It's probably the motor capacitor it's fitted to side of motor with a 13mm nut just short out terminals before you touch it just in case it's not that and it's charged up,
It'a 8 Mfu about £6/£8 retail (they usually burst open/melt)

You only need to remove lid and right hand side panel viewed from front, 3 screws down back 1 on bottom edge pull side panel off backwards
