hi was wondering if anyone knew if a pcb module from a hotpoint wd440 1400 spin will fit a wd420 1200 spin? Also any ideas on a vibrating wd440? many thanks for any help.
Yes, it should work fine in the WD420 but it is worth a visual comparison of the 2 boards as one machine might be older than the other and therefore have an earlier version of the board.
Vibration is usually caused by drum bearing wear but can sometimes just be down to loose screws on the concrete drum counterweights.
No it won't , the commercial code will be different , you will need a new smart card to rewrite the Epprom , and a card reader as well. Every pcb has to be programmed to different codes cos there's 3 different motors as well.
ok cheers, on the wd420 grey i've got lights 1 2 3 and 4 on left stack and dry light and on/off flashing is this heater relay please? might fix it rather than donor. many thanks
