hotpoint wd 420 1200 spin

hi my problem is my hotpoint washer/dryer won't empty it go's through the full cycle completly but just dos'nt empty

check pump and waste pipe found at the back

hi rocks 1 checked the waste pipe for blockage seems ok what can i do to check the pump?

undo the filter next to the pump rubber cup looking thing . if thats ok remove pump and the 2 hoses connected to it and check the impeller for hair clips .
