Hotpoint WD440P cycle problems!!!!

Our Hotpoint WD440P is onle 1 month old and has become tempremental. On low heat, wool/hand wash cycles it will complete the cycle. On warmer cycles it gets as far as the final spin, and won\\\'t go further, and on some cycles it just sits in \\\"wash\\\" mode for over 2-3 hours. Dry cycle works fine, when selected individually. It also will not fast spin when that mode is selected by itself. All hoses checked for blockages and kinks. The machine has also been checked for level and is spot on. Hotpoint can only get out in two weeks time to look at it because of my shift work. Any help would be appretiated??

Best not to fiddle with it yourself if it is still under warranty, just try to nurse it along until the Hotpoint chap (or chapess) comes.
