My Hotpoint WD64 has suddenly stopped working. There is no power when it is switched on. I have tried the plug-top fuse and for any breaks in the power cable and both are fine. I have taken it all to bits and I can't see anything obviously wrong. The machine is four years old and until now I've had no problems. Can anyone help please?

I assume there are no, lights on the machine if so possibilities are on/off switch open circuit or more probable pcb (printed circuit board) blown. There is usually areason for this either motor or door interlock have flashed over and blown pcb.
