Hotpoint WDL 520 P Washer/Dryer not emptying correctly

I have had a Hotpoint WDL 520 P Washer/Dryer for about 1 year which has been working fine. Today I tried a wash load which stopped after about 15 minutes with all lights flashing. Tried draining it using the usual program, and the pump worked for about 1 second and drained a very small amount of water before stopping.

It now does this every time, even after all clothes have been removed and all water has been manually emptied.

I have had a look inside by removing the back but the filter under the drum looks quite hard to get to.

Anyone any ideas?

Thermistor fault on the heater box. But to be sure swap it over with the wash thermistor.

Thanks all - luckily the WD was in warranty so I called out hotpoint who replaced the thermistor, which had mostly melted!

All now working
