Hotpoint WDL540 not working

Hi i have a hotpoint WDL540 washer/dryer and today its decided to not work. It starts a cycle but stops. The 4th light down (Dry) and the 6th light (lock) are lit up could anyone give me any advice?

Im not very good with electrical things and quite likely to electrocute myself so was more wondering how much this would be for a repair approx.
