Hotpoint WM22 Washing Machine - belt slipping?

Hi,
When the washing maching tries to turn the drum, the motor is working/spinning, but the belt is periodically slipping - more often than not it will turn the drum (7 times out of 10?), other times its stationary as the motor visibly spins. A few years ago I had to replace the motor - will the belt be getting to the time of replacement or do you think its the tension? How much tension is required?

Even with reduced loads, the same problem happens.

on top of moter is a bracket to the left ,it needs adjusting undo 13 mm nut pull motor to side and retighten .
