My hotpoint washing machine seems to have gone on the blink. At first the drum did not turn at all, the washing machime fills and drains without problem.
After investigation I took the belt off and replaced it to find that the motot turned the drum but there was sparking in the motor. Would I be right in thinking that the brushes are worn? If so is this common in a machine only 2 years old?
I checked the module on it and there was no signs of burning out on the board.
Any advice would be appreciated
