After reading several of these forums I have replaced the brushes on the above machine and the spin cycle works fantastic (better than before) however when my wife puts the clothes in, it then does not spin. I have checked the belt to ensure it is under tension and all looks fine. Take the clothes out and it works fine...... Any ideas?
(NB - Hotpoint WM63 is 7 years old).
I have read an old forum – mentions something about dry joints on the PCB– could this be the problem? or some kind of balancing gizmo?
Any help would be gratefully received.
