Hotpoint WMA 32 Washing Machine not turning or spinning

Our 7 year old machine started spinning so violently due to an out of balance load it dented the inside of the unit with its movement.

The unit now pumps out but will not spin in either spin or wash mode

I have had the covers off and the belt is still in tact and the unit will spin very easily by hand.

Is there a reset for this?

Any help would be appreciated

Is the supply plug firmly pushed into the motor and at the other end as well?

I am not aware of any manual reset but a white goods expert might know better.

Check the motor brushes are not worn out.
