hotpoint wma35 door light flashing

Hi i have just rebuilt my machine after a bearing change and the door light keeps flashing. i thought it might be the door lock that was broken as it was a bit temperamental before the bearing change. i have just fitted a new lock and i still have the same problem.

I select a program the door locks so it cant be opened but the door light keeps flashing and it doesn't start the program. i have checked all the wiring to the lock and pcb and it all looks good.

Any ideas? could this be a fault with the PCB?
