hotpoint WMA36P door wont lock and start

hi there, the last washing load i did had come out soaking wet with water still in the drum and now it wont work at all. Every time i shut the door to start a load the door wont lock and the lock light flashes and wont start. I have replaced the door interlock but the same thing happens

motor has gone and blown pcb expensive

cost of motor is 80 quid pcb is 70.00 ,150 for parts alone your mc is outside the 5 years part gtee hotpoint would do the lot for 100 .00, new mc i think

Not neccesarily the motor you could try looking at the PCB on the timer they have a habit of blowing one of the tracks when the interlock blows.

Most times soldering a new link in place will solve the problem (assuming the interlock was at fault)
