Hotpoint WMA44 noisy drum

Drum is noisy at all times.
Motor and belt o.k. and lolly stick found in filter is not the answer.
Would I be correct in suspecting that the bearings on the drum have gone as there is a lot of play between the inner and outer drum.
If so, is it worth "having a go". Access to this area appears to non-existant.

If it's 5 years old or less call hotpoint. They'll sort it out for about £90. New outer tub, new inner drum, new bearings, new spider, new tub seal and new suspension. Older than that......... might be uneconomical.
