hotpoint wmd 960 Washer fault

Hi,
Can anyone tell me what F18 means flashing up on my machine.
The water pumps in and out but the drum will not turn. Is this a circuit board fault or is it the motor? I would be very grateful for advice and would like to fix it myself if possible.

It could be one or the other. Pcb or motor, without test equipment u can't tell. Both parts cost 80 plus each then u wi need a smart card and reader for the pcb. I recon you should phone hotpoint all in parts and labour 100.00
