hotpoint wmt03 refuses to go through wash cycle

All we have done is move the mc from one part of the kitchen, a distance of 4 ft and added the stacking kit drier on top of course, hence the machine will not go a full cycle and is emptying the water as fast as it is letting the water in. Water in water out, the machine is 15 months old. Have reset it but it still wont go through the cycle. It goes as far as to fill drum agitates for 3-4 mins then it empties without completing the cycle, and programme end light flashes. with 7 kids to wash for i am definitely having serious problems we have gone through as many machines as in yrs second hand and new

try pulling your grey "outlet pipe" further back up your stand pipe, it sounds like it is syphoning

All i can say is fabulous it worked many thanks for your help, saved me approx 89 quid which i knocked em down to 45 in the end as it was only 15 month old mc. I will now cancel the call out, and have taken out an extended warranty with domgen. My husband doesnt quite understand the reasoning behind the raising of the grey pipe but heck i dont care it works.
