Hi,
I've just had to remove to plaster a window frame as was hollow sounding and slightly loose in some areas. I believe this was caused by the external gap between the brick and frame being poorly sealed, this having been resolved a year so ago.

What would be the best way to fill the gap? Expanding foam in the gap around the frame followed by plaster?

To give some background, the walls are solid brick and the window is on the sixth floor and east facing so exposed.

Going to try and attachsome photos.

Thanks in advance for any advice offered.

There does not look to be any substantial gaping, I would fill out with bonding coat then skim or even possibly using "one coat" may do the job.

Thanks for your response, I'm going to try the one coat.
Cheers
