Hi

We have removed whole chimney from all levels. No issues back filling the ground and first floor with standard bricks however the remaining void bit the loft is slight shallow and your standard 65mm brick will protrude by about 5mm. How would I go about filling this space?

I think it's something to do with minimum fire resistance depth between me and neighbour. It's solid wall.

I believe the fire resistance is more about time to prevent fire spread, rather than thickness of wall.
