Is it a sealed system, do you have a large and small cistern in the loft?

That's what he asked originally?? - I guess what could have been missed was an 'or' but I certainly got it

@Bobbymost - you haven't answered the original question in the other post - if the system is sealed then it'll usually have a pressure gauge where the red expansion vessel and filling loop are located, normally in the same space as the hot water cylinder.

If it's open vent - then there'll be small black cistern - usually located in the attic - that should have water in it. If it has this then it won't have a pressure gauge.

Yes there is a black cistern. I didnt answer the original question because i was not at home.

I mentioned the Gauge because someone said it needed to be at 1.5 bar. But it doesnt have one anyway

This is a duplicate thread.
Its not a duplicate thread it's two different questions. Don't police the thread there is no need and it confuses things.

Water working now but not the heating. I have replaced the Thermostat with a new one, still no heating

Starting two threads, on the same issue, confuses things....

Find out whether you have 2x 2-port valves, or 1x 3-port valves in your system - likely near where your cylinder is located, in your airing cupboard, and report back.

Often the valve actuators can jam/fail, or etc.. Until the valve(s) move to the correct position, it will not provide central heating.

The sequence of signalling, via the wiring, to run the central heating, is...

Time-clock > room thermostat > valve > boiler. The circulating pump, can be triggered, by either the valve, at the same time as the boiler, or directly by the boiler itself.
