Hi

I'm after a bit of advice of how to make doors for storage areas understairs and in the eaves.

Here are a couple of photos:

What i was wondering is:
- do I need to make a door lining, if so, what does this need to consist of?
- do I need door stops?
- what hinges should I use?
- what's the best way of measuring out the angles for the doors

Thanks very much!

A lining or frame is always a good idea. Then any discrepencies can be trued up and gives a neat edge for the architrive.

3"x1" should be strong enough.

As for making the doors them selves that just depends on your woodworking skills and how tooled up you are.
