I have been working in the small cloakroom. I am attaching photos from before pouring the slab to today.
I trimmed the soil pipe rising up from the floor and looked inside and noticed a piece of rubber caught inside the pipe.
This rubber is the seal of the flexible pan connector they used, before they poured in the concrete slab a few years ago.
I trimmed the rubber that protruded with a knife, but I know there cannot be a good seal between the orange soil pipe and the flexible pan connector.
As a solution I thought to insert a "sleeve" pipe to go down, past the broken seal, and stop any potential leaks. If the sleeve dimensions are very close to the internal diameter of the orange soil pipe (I think it is "standard" 110mm) it might fix the issue.
What do you think I should do?
