How can i repair this roof felt from inside

The roof felt is torn in one place and sometimes when its heavy driving rain there is a leak.

I tried flash banding but it didn't seem to stick to the felt.

Can I use some sort of roof sealant or adhesive with the flash banding or just tape up with gaffer tape?

You need to get up on the shed roof and put a piece of felt over the hole and slide it under the sheet above it. Make sure there is plenty of overlap around the sides of the hole and nail the patch down into the rafters around the hole.

Sorry this is the loft in my house. The tiles are above. This is from inside looking at the roof felt.

You could get some felt and cut it to the width in between the rafters. Slide it down so it covers the gap by at least 4 inches and then you could use some sealant on the right hand side to stop any small drips.

Sorry, my mistake.

I'd suggest that the same thing applies, but you need to take the tiles off in that location to do it and might need to remove the nails from some battens to get the felt under them.

I'd also want to know why water is running down the felt.

This is a very good point actually. Water should not run over felt as it would mean there is a leak in between the tiles , which needs to be addressed quickly .
