Yesterday my alarm kept going off without it being set. When I put in my code it would turn off and the tamper light would be lit. I would press reset and everything would be fine for 10 mins and the same thing happened - again and again and again
Eventually I pulled the fuse out the wall, the alarm went again but I could not stop it. So I opened the box and removed the connectors from the terminals.
20 mins later it stopped - hallellulia or whatever it is.
My problem now is that I don't know how to reset it
If I touch the tamper spring inside the alarm starts and I can input my code which stops the alarm but puts it in tamper mode and the keypad does not work.
Does anybody have an engineer code and can tell me how to rest panel?
This has happened b4 and a guy came round opened the box up did something inside asked for my code - input this and it was reset.
So it is not a specific code set by the engineer who installed it just a general code that the system is set with by the manufacturers. I think !!!!!!
