How do I change the battery in my alarm panel

Hi alarm experts

We have a TS700 Intruder Alarm Control panel and the display is 'lb' which I believe is low battery.
Just removed the two screws on the front of the panel to see what and where the battery is, and set the whole alarm off - oops sorry neighbours!!
Anybody know how easy it is to replace the battery, what size voltage etc i need to get, and how to stop the alarm going off when i remove the panel.
