Hi all
I'm not sure if "Building" is the right forum for this question but here goes..
I want to clean my driveway. It's mono-blocked and has a few weeds in the cracks and is looking a little tired.
I've done a bit of research on the 'net and I have the following plan to do it....
1) Jet wash the drive fully (starting at the top and working my way towards the street).
2) Wait for the drive to fully dry and then spread on kiln dried sand into the gaps between the blocks and sweep away the excess.
I have also heard from someone that there is some stuff you can then 'paint' on to the drive (or spray on maybe??) that will apply a kind of 'coat' to it to try and keep it clean for longer?
Firstly, can someone confirm that my idea of cleaning the drive is correct?
Secondly, does someone know if what the stuff to 'coat' the drive is called (if, indeed, it exists!!)
Thirdly, is there any other steps I've missed to do this?
A big thanks for any help on this.
Cheers
John
