Hi
New to forum so sorry if this is a bit long winded.
I am trying to find a solution as to how to finish a corner edge of a fireplace where we will be having the wall skimmed either side and tiles in the recess.
To be honest we kind of dived in without researching properly as our local diy shop was closing down and we bought some natural stone tiles really cheap thinking that we would just use these and not really considering how to finish the edge.
We had a quote from a plasterer for skimming the walls but he wanted to do this first using an angle bead to neaten up the edge of the knarly brick fireplace which i have alreay lined/skimmed inside the recess with fire cement,(as will be fitting a multifuel stove) but this would surely leave a raw edge on the tiles visible at the front if i did this afterwards.
Any suggestions ?? as i cant seem to find any forums or products on line which help??
Thanks
