Hi everyone

I am trying to fit a condensation trap (this) to some 100mm round rigid extractor ducting (this), but it doesn't seem to fit. I am assured it is for 100mm pipe, and while one side has some ridges that could hold it to the pipe the other side has nothing and leaves a few mm all around, and I doubt it will create an air tight seal on either side.

How do I install this condensation trap?

Is there a different 100mm pipe that this is meant for?

Please help

You could tightly wrap some insulation tape around the end of the solid duct - therefore increasing its diameter - or fill the gap with some silicone sealer, closing it all off with some duck tape wrapping over the join.
