Can anyone help?
Most of my bungalow flooring has been eaten away buy weevils and joists and wall plates nee to be replaced. Once I pull out the wall plates out of their cavity, how do I get new timber in and level so new joists can rest on them? Do I do it in small sections and level to existing floor or remove the entire length? does the old mortar really have to be replaced or could new timber but laid on that?
Any advice would be very welcome,
Thanks Russell[/i]
