Hi

Hope you can help.

I’m trying to repair a dripping Heritage Ryde pillar tap.

I’ve removed the domed part of the indice but it has come away from its base which is now lodged in the handle body (see photo)

Do you know how I can remove the base to get access to the screw and washer in the handle body?

Is that dimple looking bit in the middle raised ? Can you get a grip on it with tweezers or long nosed pliers ?
What method attached the white indice to the bit left in tap ?

It’s amazing what a well-trained eye can see. My eyes didn’t see the dimple! The long nosed pliers did the trick.

I’m not sure what method was used to secure the white indice to the base but whatever it was didn’t work.

What would you suggest I use to secure the white indice to the base so that it comes out in one piece in the future?

Thanks very much for your help.

Show us a picture ,in close up ,sharp focus ,of the underside of the white disc and the surface of the dimpled part it's got to bond to.
