How do I wash at 30 degrees on Hoover Quattro washer/dryer?

I just bought a second-hand Hoover Quattro 1400 washer/dryer, but it doesn't have a manual. It has a dial with numbers 1-14 and various symbols. Does anyone know what the programmes are? Most importantly how do I wash at 30 degrees? Please help.. my jeans are all shrinking!
