Please can anybody help?

My husband is tiling splashbacks in our kitchen. The tiles are rectangular and have shamford edges, so we bought two different plastic trims: 9mm for the sides where there is going to be cut edges and 6mm for the tops where no tiles will show a cut side.

The dilemma is how to make the two edges meet neately.

If anybody could help, I'd be very much obliged.

Thank you,

Doz

Hmmm interesting problem. All you can really do is to sand the joint where they meet, then hope it's disguised when you grout. (assuming the grout is the same colour as the trims that is)

By the way, I just loved your spelling of chamfered. ;)

Thank you very much for your advice. We decided to do away with the trims altogether and have a grouted edge instead, as the plastic ones had the potential of looking horribly wrong!

Sorry about my spelling, I am French and had no idea what chamfered meant until today! Thank you for putting me straight though! :)
