Hi, can someone explain how to measure stairs with a bend please? is the width of the whole carpet dependent on the stairs with a bend as this is wider? also have a hall and landing to count in. Thanks.
Unless you're used to doing this I wouldn't attempt it. It's quite difficult to explain in text. If you're buying from a shop the majority will do it for free for you.
You basically need to measure the width of each winder and then measure how big each one is over the step, and allow around 4-5 inches extra on the length of each for tucking in. Then when you've measure them it all needs putting into a block plan. Its Not the easiest thing to do.
