How do you remove a stainless steel hot splash back

We are looking to change our stainless steel splash back to a colour one but my problem is how do I remove this one.

We live in a new build house so it was fitted before we moved in. It's seems to be connected at the top and bottom and is fitted on something like mdf.


It's 600mm w by 745mm high

Any ideas how to remove it or could I fix the new one over the top?

Any help would be good thanks

New build? probably just glued to wall, you could work over the top, depends what style and material you choose.
