I have removed my skirting in order to lay some laminate flooring..

However after removing the skirting thick nails remain embedded in the wall/plaster

I have tried prying them ultility/wrecking bars but its won't budge especially without damaging the plaster..

What would be best method to remove the the nails

It's from 1960s home and they have used thick nails

If they don't pull I twist them out with the utility bar. They sometimes break.

Cut nails by the cwt. in the 60's a Dremel can cut them too

Whack them one way then the other with a hammer and they will break off. Or use a large pair or pliers...

Thanks the suggestions guys :D

at the moment, bending the nail one way and then the other is working well.

may use a grinder for speed
