The push fit fitting states that it is non-demountable

Can anyone confirm how you'd remove this from a copper pipe

Non demountable means it is a 1 time fit so you'd be looking at cutting and replacing the pipe

Unscrew the nut and break off the grab ring/washer.

Thanks. It's mind boggling that in this day and age, they are still making items which cannot be easily removed after fitting

Unscrew the nut and break off the grab ring/washer.
How do you 'break off the grab ring washer', especially without damaging the pipe?

What tools/techniques do i need to use?

There's a leak at the marked area under a sink. The fitting looks like the linked toolstation one, although another poster thought that it could be a hep20 fitting

For the grey fitting the pipe appears to go to an isolation valve

I am after advice on the best way to repair this leak. Apparently, hand tightening the joint failed to stop the leak.

Pair of pliers, they snap easily.
Please explain it to me like I'm 5

I have attached an image of the part, unscrewed with the internal parts on display (ie 1, 2, 3)

So i do the following

1. Unscrew the fitting

2. Do i pull the pipe in one direction and strike the fitting at 4 or 6 with the pliers?

Or an i supposed to compress the fitting with the pliers at 4, 5 or 6?

Unscrew the fitting and pull the elbow off. Grab 1 with the pliers, on the edge, and turn till it snaps.

They are dismountable, but it depends on what is on the other end of the pipe.
You can also cut the pipe and remove the grab ring by pulling it backwards, towards the cut end.

Thanks, got it.

After the elbow, there's a tiny piece of pipe and this is connected to an isolation valve and flexi tails before going to the tap.

In order to remove the fitting, do i need to remove the pipe from the other end of the push fit elbow fitting ie the one which going into the isolation valve?

Edit.

Based on @Stivino response, I guess i have to remove the pipe going into the isolation valve

No - follow @denso13 's advice if there's enough pipe between the fitting and the valve >0 unscrew the grey nut of the fitting > pull off the elbow > then draw the nut a backwards towards the valve (if there's enough pipe) > that'll expose the grab ring and washer > grip the grab ring side on with a pair of pliers and twist it >the grab ring will snap then pull off the washer and nut.

If there isn't enough pipe to expose the grab ring then just cut the plastic nut lengthwise and pull it off (dremel, junior hacksaw, etc)
