how do you replace the window mechanism on a mk6 escort

hi does any one know how to replace the window mechanism on a mk 6 escort the cog has worn on it they are electric windows? does any other ford parts fit

You can normally order direct from a ford dealer using your numberplate, alternatively a scrap yard might have one in. For info you could try buying a TIS disk off fleabay.
