When fitting end panels in a kitchen - I can scribe them to the wall, OR to the floor. But how do you scribe them to both? If you set the panel plumb and then scribe the wall and then subsequently repeat this for the floor, the panel will be in a lower position relative to the wall than when it was scribed and hence the cut won't match the undulations on the wall...... vice versa if you scribe the floor firat and then the wall.

Does anyone know how to do it?

Thanks as always

Are they both that far out that it matters? can one or other not be sorted with a nice neat mastic bead after?

say your unit height is 870mm from floor to top of unit, your end panel should be about 900mm.

If you floor is out by 10mm front to back then you scribe for the 10mm difference on the floor. This will leave your panel still 10mm or so over height, then scribe the wall, offer panel up check floor scribe adjust if necessary but should only be mm's and cut remainder off the top of panel, then silicone top cut to work top bottom cut to floor and caulk the scribe to the wall. It should look like it grew there.

If you have glossy panels run masking tape where your cuts are going to be so it will be easier to mark with pencil
