I tried to copy both versions into paint, to compare them, but it will only copy one version :(

You would need to copy them into something that will handle gif 'animations' - like Fireworks or Photoshop (ImageReady). I haven't tried this yet but I will do when I get the chance as I can't work out where the extra person comes from when it is being animated :oops:
 
Ok, have opened the animation - it has 63 layers, which I don't have the time to go through at the moment. Here are the first and last parts of the animation - but it doesn't make it much clearer how it works :confused:
