Related to Joe's thread about what time you get up, how long do you sleep, and what's your record?

I usually sleep for 6-7 hours a night in summer, 8-9 hours a night in winter.

I've slept for over 24 hours on two occasions when ill, but without being ill my record is probably 13 hours.

I sleep somewhere between 6-8 hrs, depending on bedtime.
I have slept through a whole day, after having to complete some deadlines at work, meaning working through for a couple of days. But did catch the odd ten minute nap along the way.

pbody sleeps until it's time for bed, then he can't wake up.

John Lennon " How do you sleep " - much better song ;)

i have fibromyalgia and as a consequence, i only get REM sleep... so can sleep forever, and dream for England, but never feel rested.... maybe that's why i'm so grumpy?..... Discuss!

how can you not feel rested if you only have REM sleep?
that's the deepest sleep and is the state that your body is in total rest ( well appart from the eye muscles of course.. ever wondered why you're eyes aren't sore in the morning if they've been wiggling side to side all night? )
