I've put tapered edge plasterboard up in my new conservatory and filled the joins and corners with jointing compound. I now want to start to decorate - plasterboard primer first, then emulsion. My question is - how long do I need to let the jointing compound dry for before put the primer on?

Thanks in advance

If you have some background heat in your conservatory, the joints that you did should be ok to decorate after 2 or 3 days or so,, just to make sure. You'll know when they have dried out. Sand them down first though before you paint. This time of year,if it's in a room without heat, they can take a long time to dry properly.... Even when you decorate/paint a room/wall, again,,a little heat would be of benefit.
