if a colonial power leave a country how long should they be held to account for the ill's of that country, even if that country wanted them gone, and if that new free country start to kill each other, so one side can gain power  would 30.40,50,60.years be long enough
And should the people from these former colonys be allowed to emigrate to the former motherland

The Normans, about 900 years.

When exactly did the Normans leave? I thought they were still here. Like the Celts - and the Saxons - and the Vikings, both Danish and Norwegian. Maybe the Romans left (well most of them anyway) but what did they ever do for us?

Roughly speaking, they left us to our own devices so that Celts, Saxons, Vikings and Normans (actually second hand Vikings) could spend the next millenium trying to kill each other.

space cat, if that's is so ,then who were we, and who are we  druids or what :)

but we are mostly descended from illegal immigrants.

Yea , thats right, they were called romans and they ruled this country for 500years. Thats 10 generations so we are all probably descended from roman bastards.

No, I don't think we should still be responsible for the yanks problems, and we should not let them emigrate here either.

we left india 60 years ago who then became three countrys, most of africa 45 years, Jamaica 48 years, so did we sign something to give them long term rigths  just asking
