How many Battens

Hello

I am aware that the sizes of Roof Slates dictate the number of battens for a Pitched Roof.

I do not know how to work that out.

So I have included a drawing showing the distances between the holes in the Slate.

Please let me know if anyone can advise.

Looks like a drawing of a cement fibre slate.
Generally a preset gauge of 250 mm for a 600 x 300 .
