Hi folks,

Can anyone tell me please if there is a rule of thumb for how many screws to use for a stud wall that is for a garden room made of 4x2 timbers at 400mm centres?

I'm ordering in the screws and I don't wanna go craaazy or have it fall over.

Cheers

To assemble the frame 2 or 3 at each end of a stud where they meet the header/sole [plate (5,0 x 90/100mm) plus stitched every 300 to 400mm frame to frame in the corners, plus one screw in every gap to stitch to the floor

For boarding out with drywall screws, every 300mm

Thank you so much guys! I've got a good idea of how many I need now and where they go. Really appreciate the great advice again.

Cheers
