how much inhibitor shud i put?

Hi

I have a system that has been runnign for 10weeks or so with no inhibitor, i ned to put it in, i need to know if i would have caused any damage to the system for that amount of time, also, how much inhibitor do i put in for 9 rad system, in a sealed combi system?

please advise.

i was planning to yes. i can drain it adn then fill it up, or do i have another option?

Best to drain it I reckon, then start afresh after having cleaned out the header tank. One jerrycan of Fernox or similar will do the job.

its a combi boiler so i dont have a header tank, i was going to switch the system off, drain the rads, put x100 1litre into the bathroom towel rad, and fill the system up. would that be ok?

Er, dunno, I don't know much about combis, better check with someone who does.

It sounds OK though.

Go nuts. 1ltr bottle should be ok for 9 rad system. Put 2 in if your feeling flush!
