I have a weight question. I am looking to get my bathroom renovated and I want to use a wall hung vanity (1 metre Woodstock calypso Levanto) it weighs 60kgs. It’s going in a solid internal wall. I can’t measure the depth of the wall exactly but it seems approx 80mm thick. My question is around using a quartz slab for the vanity work surface. I have some gorgeous quartzite left over from the kitchen and would like to cut it to use as the work surface and then a bowl sink on top but the quartz is 30mm thick and extremely heavy. The vanity maker said its vanity will support it but my concern is whether the wall / brackets can and how would I solve the problem. I considered some kind of additional to floor support (not quite sure how) I didn’t want wall hung but it was the only one in the correct size and shape. Any advice/ experience/ ideas would be greatly appreciated. TIA

80mm thick means it's a block of some kind or stud. I wouldn't try it in my place.

That unit should not go onto a stud wall.
It is 60kg, and that’s without a basin in it, or tap or water in the basin.
