Hi just bought a second hand calor gas heater thinking about getting it serviced, wondering how much it would cost

You would be lucky to find anyone qualified to service it and then it would probably cost more than you paid for the heater. You could ask in a caravan showroom as they sometimes service LPG equipment.

Look at the Calor website for a dealer / supplier near you.....
Some of the portable heater appliances have been subject to a recall since 2010 - a safety check is often free, so long as you buy your gas from them.

Some Calor Gas dealers offer Heater Health Check and Mobile Heater Servicing - go to www.calor.co.uk click on "find a stockist" enter your town or city and a list of stockists will appear, however do ring to make enquiries, before you make a long journey to get your heater serviced, Calor have a habit of denoting unlikely places as Mobile Heater Servicing agents such as filling stations, garages, plumbers merchants and camping shops etc.
