If it is an oil boiler that is not igniting and the reset is being constantly pressed, or it is not burning correctly and constantly recycling, then it could be hourly.
Typically, they are rated for operation at 33% in 3 mins. If the operation exceeds this figure, it will overload and burn out the internal wiring.
