I have an MEM trip switch board which has six trip switches. When our kitchen was re-fitted the electrician put a smaller trip switch box on the side of this which covered the power points and cooker point which were moved.
The cables coming out of the trip switch board are all grey. There are two yellow and green ones, but these may be the main supply into the box - not sure.
I have two electrical sockets and three light switches which look old. However, when my dimmer switch had to be replaced a couple of years ago, the electrician asked if he could get one of the sockets as it looked out. He said it was fine and they had re-used the old socket covers.
Can anyone hazard a guess how old the electrics could be.
