How should I rewire my Danfoss programmer?

Hi everyone,

My wife accidentally pulled off one of the cable connecting to the Danfoss programmer, and now the central heating does not turn on (hot water still working). Now I'm not sure how to reconnect this wire back on. Thanks for your help.

As above, that is rough, and needs rewiring correctly.
In the meantime, try connecting the loose black wire to terminal 4.
I hope the supply is currently turned off!
It would be worth checking the other terminals are tight, in case those were also pulled.

@RandomGrinch Thank you. Do you mean, it is rough because it is not properly wired originally? Might I as well rewire the whole thing?

It's just a bit of a bodge, using two cables, when one would have done.
Given that the installer has used a green/yellow wire for a switched live (something explicitly forbidden now), they could even have used just the 5 core flex, rather than cutting away all but the black wire.
The Green/Yellow wire could also be terminated better, without any stray strands.

For a rewire now, you would need a 6 core mains flex (some sell by the meter), and connect..
Brown to L
Blue to N
Green/Yellow to earth terminal
And White, Grey and Black to terminals 1, 3 and 4.
(With the other ends connected respectively in the wiring centre)

@RandomGrinch I have reconnected into terminal 4, however the programmers still could not activate the boiler for heating. Do you think the problem could be in the splitter thingy, or the wire is loose inside the power unit?

If the cable was tripped over, I suppose it may be possible that the wire is loose within the wiring centre?
If you can post a picture of the internals of the white Honeywell box, we may be able to see where the cable terminates.
